Blake Tollison Shelton took an affinity to singing and playing at an early age, and by just 12 years of age he had learned how to play the guitar. He kept working on his talent and at the age of 17, Blake moved to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue a singing career. It took him several years, but he ended up signing to Giant Records and Blake's debut single "Austin" came out, but the company Giant Records soon after dissolved, and Blake was transferred to Warner Bros.
