TLDR

Four years into marriage, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker marked their anniversary with matching Cece Jewellery signet rings that turn their “til death” vows into wearable gothic art.

The Kardashian-Barker love story has always played out in high contrast. Italian lace and black veils. Church weddings and courthouse paperwork. Now, for their fourth wedding anniversary, the couple has added a new chapter, one that sits quietly on their hands but speaks volumes about how they see forever.

Kourtney revealed the matching rings on Instagram, sharing a close-up of the hand-painted gold-and-enamel pieces and captioning it simply, “his and hers,” alongside a string of darkly romantic emojis. It was a small post that carried a big message. Their marriage is not just intact. It is being redefined through their shared visual world.

The rings come from London-based Cece Jewellery, known for turning personal mythology into miniature heirlooms. Each 18-karat gold signet ring shows a pair of skeleton lovers, framed by the inscription “Til Death Do Us Part” and bordered with deep plum flowers that the brand says symbolize eternal love and devotion. The design nods directly to their Hulu wedding special, “Til Death Do Us Part: Kourtney & Travis,” effectively turning a tagline into a lifetime motif.

On the face of each ring, the skeleton couple stands before an arched doorway etched into the metal, scattered with tiny star-set diamonds. Along the sides, bright red hearts burn with subtle flames, wrapped in a banner that reads “TB KB.” Beneath each heart sits the number 13, a longtime talisman for Barker, who once told Complex it is “just the greatest number of all time.” It is meaningful enough that the pair even gave their son Rocky 13 as his middle name.

Cece Jewellery described the pieces as “rich in symbolism and storytelling,” adding that the designs reflect both the house’s signature aesthetic and the couple’s wider visual universe. Jeweler Cece Fein-Hughes has said of her process, “My design approach is delicate and thoughtful, always striving to capture the customer’s vision on a miniature canvas.” She begins each project with a mood board, then pulls out the emotional threads that matter most to the client.

Their commission is part of a growing circle of celebrities around the brand. Gigi Hadid once gifted Taylor Swift a CeCe signet ring featuring Swift’s cat, Benjamin Button. Kendall Jenner was the first Kardashian-Jenner to work with the British jeweler, ordering a ring featuring her two Dobermans, along with subtle nods to her love of horse riding and her 818 tequila brand.

More recently, Margot Robbie presented Jacob Elordi with one of two skeleton-themed Cece rings during their “Wuthering Heights” press tour. Like Kourtney and Travis’s design, that pairing used intertwined skeletons to tell a story of complicated romance, blurring the line between a costume piece and a future keepsake.

For Kourtney and Travis, the timing is its own statement. The couple made things legal in May 2022, then celebrated with a lavish Portofino ceremony that became Pinterest inspiration overnight. Two years and one son later, they are quietly upgrading their symbols rather than chasing another televised spectacle. The Cece rings feel less like merch and more like heirlooms that could someday be passed to their children.

For fans, there is an entry point into this world of gothic romance. Cece Jewellery offers a smaller Skeleton Lovers Ring, currently priced at $6,822, for anyone ready to invest in a similar forever piece. It is a reminder that in this phase of the Kardashian era, the loudest love stories sometimes speak in gold, enamel, and a private number etched into the side.

Do Kourtney and Travis’s deeply personal rings feel like a natural evolution of their love story, or is the gothic symbolism too much for an anniversary piece? Share where you draw the line between romantic and theatrical in celebrity forever jewelry.
